Hello! I notice that Welsh is marked as using a question particle to mark polar questions, but to the best of my knowledge that is not the case in modern standard Welsh, for example “He is going.” would be “Mae o’n mynd.”, while “Is he going?” would be “Ydy o’n mynd?”, note the only difference being the first word, the verb ‘is’, and as far as I am aware, this is the case in most other situations as well, for example “Bwyton nhw”, “They ate”, vs “Fwyton nhw?”, “Did they eat?”.
