Since Finnish has two types of ‘relative clause’, one using a relative pronoun, the other using participles, I’m curious why it has been assigned to the relative pronoun category. If it were categorised as using participles (gap strategy), it would belong to the Eurasian group that spans the entire continent to the east. The decision seems rather ‘Eurocentric’, or at least overly focussed on SAE.
