    I suppose Burmese value for this topic should be “In 3rd person + 1st and/or 2nd person”. A male speaker refers to himself as ကျွန်တော် (or ကျနော်) /t͡ɕənɔ̀/ and a female, ကျွန်မ (or ကျမ) /t͡ɕəma̰/. They are not interchangeable. Or does Okell describe such a possibility? Please note that Burmese သူ /t̪ù/ stands for not only ‘he’, but also ’she’ (http://www.sealang.net/burmese/dictionary.htm) though also သူမ is used for the latter for disambiguation.
