    Dear editors or WALS,

    I am afraid your data points for Jurchen are wrong. The source you have used (wrongly called Hang et al. instead of Zhang et al.) refers to a different Tungusic language that should be called Kilen (and is often called Hezhen in China). Pevnov would be the correct source (among many others). Jurchen and Kilen belong to two different sub-branches of Tungusic. The location indicated on the map also seems to be that of Kilen.
