The given list of 311 items was used in a survey of 12 Kru languages spoken in Côte d'Ivoire. As stated by the author, it is based on the 555-word list, provided by the Institute of Applied Linguistics, but we failed to find the original. The final version of the list contains a significantly smaller number of items, excluding the personal pronouns, some adjectives and certain lexemes that were considered unrepresentative for establishing the relationships between the languages.
